Also as we have in the past, we will hold some of the matches at William Jewell College.
What is the tournament format?
Tournament format is 2 out of 3 sets, no add scoring, double elimination.
How competitive will it be?
There will be an "open" division in most events within the tournament, for those who play at a very high level, and an "A" division for others who enjoy competition, but may not be at the collegiate level. For those familiar with tennis ratings, the open divisions would be comprised mostly of 4.5 level and above. The A divisions would be mostly 3.0 to 4.0. This will be at the discretion of the tournament commitee, however.
How much does it cost to enter?
The cost for singles is $30, doubles is $45 per team, and the mixer is $25 per couple or $15 per individual (and of course, any additional donations to this scholarship fund are greatly appreciated).
How do I enter?
You can enter online by clicking here. It is 100% safe and secure – payment is made through PayPal or USTA TennisLink (depending on which tournament you enter).

Will there be any special events?
Yes! We'll have a mixer Saturday evening, which is when we'll announce the winners of the drawings, etc. Everyone has an opportunity to win something. If you are not participating in the tournament, you can still join us at the mixer for a small fee.
A PRINCE Racquet Sports demo night will be held as part of the player party on Saturday night around 7:30 pm.
There will also be a fast serve contest for men and women.
Will there be any gifts or drawings?
Yes! We will have various items, which have been donated, that will be available for our participants and their guests. They will be available through drawings, raffles, and silent auctions. We expect to have some items that are tennis related as well as some that aren't. We do not currently have a list of those items, however.
Will food be provided?
Food will be provided for participants of the tournament and mixer. There will be a buffet on Saturday evening.
What happens if it rains?
In case of inclement weather, matches will be delayed or possibly moved inside. Check this website for further information if that happens.
Is this an annual event?
Yes. This has been an annual event since 2003, and we plan for that to continue for many years thanks to the support of our participants and sponsors.
Is this a sanctioned event?
The youth tournament is a USTA-sanctioned event. The adult tourney is not, but we will ask participants to follow the rules of the USTA in order to maintain a fair and competitive environment.
